1. Introduction
At Stazuro Casino Hotel, we understand that travel plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, modifications, and refunds for reservations at our casino hotel.
Please review this policy carefully at the time of booking, as by making a reservation with Stazuro Casino Hotel, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Cancellation Policy.
Please note that specific rate plans, packages, or promotional offers may have different cancellation terms, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation.
2. Standard Rate Cancellations
For reservations made at our standard rates, the following cancellation policy applies:
2.1 Regular Season
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled arrival date: Full refund with no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date: A cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay will be charged.
2.2 High Season and Special Events
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled arrival date: Full refund with no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the scheduled arrival date: A cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay will be charged.
- Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled arrival date: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total reservation value will be charged.
High season periods include, but are not limited to, the Monaco Grand Prix, Christmas and New Year holidays, and the Monte Carlo Masters Tennis Tournament.
3. Non-Refundable Rate Cancellations
Some of our rates are offered at a discount in exchange for a non-refundable payment:
- Non-refundable rates require full payment at the time of booking.
- These reservations cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded.
- The full amount will be charged regardless of whether you stay for the entire reserved period.
Non-refundable rates will be clearly marked as such during the booking process, and by selecting these rates, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
4. Group Booking Cancellations
Group bookings are defined as reservations for 5 or more rooms:
4.1 Standard Group Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date: Full refund of any deposits, less a €250 administrative fee.
- Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before the scheduled arrival date: 50% of the total reservation value will be charged.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date: 100% of the total reservation value will be charged.
4.2 Group Booking Deposits
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
- An additional 25% deposit is required 30 days before arrival.
- The remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival.

5. Event Reservation Cancellations
For reservations of our event spaces, private dining rooms, or casino private gaming areas:
5.1 Standard Event Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before the event date: Full refund of any deposits, less a €500 administrative fee.
- Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before the event date: 50% of the total event value will be charged.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date: 100% of the total event value will be charged.
5.2 Event Booking Deposits
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the event space.
- An additional 25% deposit is required 60 days before the event.
- The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
Event reservations during high season or special dates may be subject to different terms, which will be specified in your event contract.
6. Seasonal Variations
Our cancellation policy varies throughout the year to reflect seasonal demand and special events:

7. Reservation Modifications
Requests to modify existing reservations are subject to availability and the following conditions:
7.1 Date Changes
- Date changes made within the cancellation policy period will be treated as a cancellation and new booking.
- Date changes to a higher rate period may require additional payment.
- Date changes to a lower rate period will not result in a refund for non-refundable rates.
7.2 Length of Stay Changes
- Reducing the length of stay within the cancellation policy period will be subject to cancellation fees for the cancelled nights.
- Extending a stay is subject to availability and may be at a different rate than the original booking.
7.3 Room Type Changes
- Upgrading to a higher category room is subject to availability and additional charges.
- Downgrading to a lower category room within the cancellation policy period will not result in a refund for the rate difference for non-refundable bookings.
8. No-Shows
A "no-show" occurs when a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice:
- No-shows will be charged the full value of the reservation.
- For reservations of multiple nights, the entire stay will be cancelled after a no-show on the first night, unless otherwise arranged with the hotel.
- No refunds will be issued for no-show reservations, regardless of the rate type.
If you anticipate a late arrival, please contact the hotel directly to maintain your reservation.
9. Early Departure
An early departure occurs when a guest checks out prior to their scheduled departure date:
- Early departures will be charged according to the original reservation terms.
- For standard rates, a one-night charge will apply unless notice is given at least 48 hours before the new departure date.
- For non-refundable rates, no refund will be issued for unused nights.
If you need to depart earlier than planned, please notify the front desk as soon as possible.
10. Refund Process
When a refund is due according to our cancellation policy:
- Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment used for the reservation.
- Credit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank's policies.
- Wire transfer refunds may take up to 15 business days to process.
- A confirmation email will be sent once the refund has been processed.
Please note that bank fees or currency exchange rate differences may affect the final refund amount.
11. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control that prevent us from fulfilling our obligations:
- Stazuro Casino Hotel may offer a full refund or a credit for a future stay, regardless of the standard cancellation policy.
- Qualifying circumstances may include natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, or other extraordinary events.
- Documentation or evidence may be required to support claims of force majeure circumstances affecting a guest's ability to travel.
Each case will be evaluated individually, and decisions will be made at the discretion of hotel management.
